This tool is designed to achieve a glass-like finish on Thermoplastics such as PMMA (Acrylic glass), PC (Polycarbonate), PE (Polyethylene), PP (Polypropylene), PS (Polystyrene) ABS (Acrylonitrile butadiene styrene), and PVC (Polyvinylchloride).

Near glass-clear finish can be achieved by following the recommended 2 pass machining parameters, below:

Recommended machining parameters:

1st Pass Precut (roughing) – conventional cut 18-24,000 rpm 6-10m/min feed rate
2nd Pass Finish Cut (return to start point) – climb cut 18-24,000 rpm, 0.3-0.8m/min (.004-.012″ material removal)
