Ideal for linear profiles in a wide range of materials.

The Stanza SSP series sprayers are ideal for linear profiles in a wide range of materials. They are capable of utilizing both water and solvent based coatings including stains, paints, and lacquers.

Spray guns are automatically timed for the start and stop of the spray cycle to ensure best spray efficiency. The overspray is captured by the spray trough and can be recovered while atomized spray is captured by fiberglass media and clean air is exhausted from the spray cabin.

The SSP series can be fitted with spray gun packages to suit your requirements, including:

  • Conventional,
  • Air-Assisted Airless
  • Airless

SSP Series Moulding Sprayers can be combined with a wide range of our sanders and drying ovens.

What is the STANZA MACHINERY SSP 3 Head Linear Moulding Sprayer?

The STANZA MACHINERY SSP 3 Head Linear Moulding Sprayer is an automated finishing system designed to apply coatings evenly to mouldings, trim, rails, and other linear components using three coordinated spray heads for consistent coverage and production efficiency.

What types of applications is the SSP 3 Head Linear Moulding Sprayer best suited for?

The SSP is ideal for spraying cabinet mouldings, architectural trim, linear millwork, rails, stiles, handrails, and long furniture components that require uniform finish quality across all visible faces.

How does the SSP differ from manual spray booths?

Unlike manual spray booths, the SSP uses automated spray head positioning and controlled part travel to deliver consistent coverage, reduced overspray, improved transfer efficiency, and repeatable finish quality regardless of operator skill.

How many spray heads does the SSP system use?

The SSP system uses three synchronized spray heads, allowing multiple faces of a moulding or linear part to be coated in a single pass for efficient, uniform application.

What types of coatings can be applied with the SSP?

The SSP can apply water-based stains and coatings, solvent-based sealers, lacquers, conversion coatings, and compatible topcoats, depending on system configuration and finishing requirements.

What materials can be processed on the SSP 3 Head Linear Moulding Sprayer?

The SSP is commonly used on solid wood, MDF, veneered components, and engineered wood substrates formed into linear profiles and mouldings.

Who should consider the SSP 3 Head Linear Moulding Sprayer?

The SSP is ideal for cabinet manufacturers, millwork shops, furniture producers, and finishing operations that run consistent volumes of linear parts and want predictable finish quality with reduced labor.

Is the SSP suitable for production environments?

Yes. The SSP is engineered for light-to-mid production environments, offering reliable performance, repeatable results, and scalable throughput for growing finishing operations.

How does automated linear spraying improve finish consistency?

Automated spraying controls spray angle, overlap, atomization, and part speed, eliminating common defects such as runs, thin spots, striping, and inconsistent color caused by manual application.

Can the SSP handle different moulding profiles?

Yes. The SSP can be configured to accommodate a range of moulding shapes and sizes, with adjustable spray head positioning to ensure proper coverage across varied profiles.

Does the SSP reduce labor requirements?

Yes. Automating the spraying process significantly reduces reliance on skilled spray operators and allows fewer personnel to manage higher finishing output.

How does the SSP integrate into a finishing line?

The SSP integrates with conveyors, drying ovens, UV curing systems, sanding equipment, and material handling automation, enabling continuous linear finishing workflows.

How does the SSP compare to the STS 6 Head Linear Moulding Sprayer?

The SSP 3 Head Sprayer is designed for moderate production volumes and simpler coating needs, while the STS 6 Head Sprayer supports higher throughput, more complex multi-coat applications, and greater coverage flexibility.

Is the SSP environmentally efficient?

Yes. Controlled spray application improves material transfer efficiency, reduces overspray, lowers coating consumption, and supports cleaner finishing environments.

Is financing available for the STANZA MACHINERY SSP 3 Head Linear Moulding Sprayer?

Yes. Flexible financing options are available through Centex Automation, allowing manufacturers to invest in automated linear spraying technology while managing capital expenditures.
