Featuring UV cured, four-sided coating utilizing Stanza’s “Free Flow” technology. UV Vacuum Coating offers immediate curing in a small footprint.

Our STM Series UV-Based Vacuum Coaters are designed to coat linear profiles with maximum uniformity and 99% transfer efficiency.

The system consists of a separation tower, vacuum producer, control panel, and a unique application chamber. This application chamber, featuring our “Free Flow Technology”, enhances coating consistency at lower vacuum pressures. This lessens energy consumption, while permitting higher feed speeds. The chamber is also designed for quick, tool-free changeover, resulting in maximized production up-time. The programmable logic controller (PLC) driven system interlocks with machines in line, enabling process integration.

Our UV Curing Oven, in combination with the vacuum coater, allows for immediate curing in a small footprint at high feed speeds. UV Coatings will cure only with the presence of a UV light source.

Our STM Series Vacuum Coaters are designed and manufactured in the USA, and are customizable with a range of options and special configurations to suit your production needs.

Specifications

What is the STANZA MACHINERY MC/UV Vacuum Coater?

The STANZA MACHINERY MC/UV Vacuum Coater is an automated finishing system designed to apply UV-curable coatings evenly across flat panels, profiles, and contoured parts using vacuum-assisted application. It delivers consistent, high-quality coating coverage with minimal waste.

What types of applications is the MC/UV Vacuum Coater best suited for?

The MC/UV Vacuum Coater is ideal for coating cabinet doors, drawer fronts, furniture components, panels, and millwork parts where uniform film build, clean edges, and repeatable finish quality are required.

How does a vacuum coater work?

A vacuum coater applies finish by pulling coating material across the surface of a part using controlled vacuum pressure. This ensures even coverage across flat areas and profiles while reducing overspray, material waste, and manual application variability.

What materials and substrates can the MC/UV Vacuum Coater process?

The MC/UV Vacuum Coater is commonly used on MDF, solid wood, veneered panels, and engineered wood products used in cabinetry, furniture manufacturing, and architectural millwork.

What types of coatings can be applied with the MC/UV Vacuum Coater?

This system is designed specifically for UV-curable coatings, including sealers, base coats, and topcoats used in high-performance finishing environments.

How does UV curing benefit finishing operations?

UV curing provides instant cure times, allowing parts to be stacked, handled, or processed immediately after coating. This dramatically improves throughput, reduces floor space requirements, and eliminates long drying times.

Who should consider the STANZA MACHINERY MC/UV Vacuum Coater?

The MC/UV Vacuum Coater is ideal for cabinet manufacturers, furniture producers, and finishing operations seeking higher throughput, consistent finish quality, reduced labor, and improved coating efficiency.

How does a vacuum coater compare to spray finishing?

Compared to spray systems, vacuum coating offers greater material efficiency, more uniform coverage, less overspray, and improved repeatability, especially on flat panels and profiled parts.

Can the MC/UV Vacuum Coater be integrated into an automated finishing line?

Yes. The MC/UV Vacuum Coater is commonly integrated with conveyors, UV cure ovens, sanding systems, and material handling automation, creating a continuous, high-efficiency finishing line.

Is the MC/UV Vacuum Coater suitable for production environments?

Yes. This system is engineered for mid-to-high production environments, delivering reliable performance, consistent coating results, and scalability as production demands grow.

Is financing available for the STANZA MACHINERY MC/UV Vacuum Coater?

Yes. Flexible financing options are available through Centex Automation, allowing shops to invest in advanced UV finishing technology while managing capital expenditures.
