Convection Dry Ovens are custom configured to match every application. The convection process is often the “Gold Standard” in the drying of multiple finishes, enabling a slow and complete cure.

Stanza Convex-Series Ovens utilize gas fired heating units that are capable of temperatures up to 350-degrees F. Gas fired ovens are highly energy efficient and powerful. The Convex design features turbulator cross flow creating gentle but high-volume air movement to extract solvents from the substrate. Our unique interior flow circulates solvent laden air from bottom to top maximizing the air exchange process. Options include, infrared lamps, zone control and multi-fuel capability.

What is the STANZA MACHINERY Convex Series Convection Oven?

The STANZA MACHINERY Convex Series Convection Oven is an industrial thermal curing system designed to evenly dry and cure coatings, paints, sealers, and finishes on wood and engineered panels used in cabinet manufacturing, furniture production, and architectural millwork.

What applications is the Convex Series Convection Oven best suited for?

The Convex Series is ideal for drying and curing painted cabinet doors, panels, furniture components, and millwork parts where consistent airflow and temperature control are required for high-quality finishes.

How does a convection oven differ from a UV cure oven?

A convection oven uses heated, circulated air to cure finishes over a controlled period of time, while a UV cure oven uses ultraviolet light to instantly cure UV-reactive coatings. Convection ovens are better suited for water-based, solvent-based, and non-UV finishes.

What types of finishes can be cured in the Convex Series Oven?

The Convex Series can cure water-based finishes, solvent-based coatings, paints, primers, sealers, lacquers, and other traditional finishing materials commonly used in cabinetry and furniture manufacturing.

How does the Convex Series improve finish consistency?

By maintaining uniform temperature and airflow, the Convex Series reduces uneven drying, surface defects, and finish inconsistencies, resulting in smoother surfaces and improved coating performance.

Who should consider a STANZA Convex Series Convection Oven?

The Convex Series is ideal for cabinet manufacturers, furniture producers, finishing departments, and millwork shops that require reliable, repeatable drying performance for non-UV finishes.

Is the Convex Series suitable for production environments?

Yes. The Convex Series is engineered for mid-to-high production environments, helping reduce drying bottlenecks and increase overall finishing throughput.

How does the Convex Series compare to ambient air drying?

Compared to air drying, the Convex Series dramatically reduces drying time, improves finish consistency, and allows for predictable production scheduling, even in variable shop conditions.

Where is the STANZA MACHINERY Convex Series Convection Oven manufactured?

STANZA MACHINERY designs equipment for professional woodworking and finishing operations. Specific country-of-origin details for the Convex Series Convection Oven can be confirmed through Centex Automation.
