Description

The PivotPoint Kits are a selection of our components designed to outfit small shops, finishing low volumes of parts and looking to change from the dreaded, time consuming, flat finishing method. These kits allow for an easy transition into PivotLine as production needs increase. Once you try it, we know you’ll love it. This kit is fully compatible with all PivotPoint and PivotLine hanger products.

This kit is designed for a batch size of 40 parts at a time and includes:

(1) Pivot Point Spray Hub – Our rotating and indexing spraying center. This part is attached to a structure in your spray booth and holds our hangers for all-sides-at-once spraying.
(2) Stock Rack – Heavy duty rolling rack for staging, transport, drying or storage of materials. The stock rack includes 16 pre-assembled fixed mounts.
(24) Offset Hangers – For hanging drawers and items requiring finish only on one side, while allowing for no paint shadowing around the hanger.
(12) Universal Hangers – For hanging from panel edges or faces. These can also be used for creating DIY large panel ‘T-Bars’
(64) EFC Hangers – For clipping into hinge pockets.
(32) T-Bars – A wide structure for supporting other hangers, be it EFC Hangers for doors, or Universal Hangers for holding multiple shelves or drawer fronts from a single hang point. Kit includes 12x of our medium-width 34in T-Bar, and 20x of our narrowest 17in T-Bar.
Pocket Screws – All the screws needed for hanging your parts from the included Offset and Universal Hangers.

Specifications

What is the PivotPoint™ Cabinet Spray Finish and Dry System Kit (40 Part)?
The PivotPoint™ Cabinet Spray Finish and Dry System Kit (40 Part) is a compact finishing solution designed to allow cabinet parts to be sprayed and dried efficiently using a pivot-based system.

How many parts can this system handle at one time?
This kit is designed to support batch sizes of up to 40 cabinet parts at a time.

What types of cabinet components can be finished with this kit?
The system is ideal for cabinet doors, drawer fronts, panels, and similar components requiring multi-surface finishing.

How does the PivotPoint™ system improve over flat finishing?
Unlike flat table finishing, the PivotPoint™ system allows parts to pivot for improved spray access, reducing the need to flip and reposition parts manually.

Does this kit support both spraying and drying?
Yes. The system is designed to hold parts securely during spraying and throughout the drying process.

Is this kit suitable for small cabinet shops?
Yes. The 40-part capacity makes it ideal for small to mid-sized shops seeking improved efficiency without a full production line investment.

How does the pivot feature improve finish quality?
Controlled rotation improves access to edges and profiles, promoting more consistent film build and reducing missed areas.

Does this system reduce material handling?
Yes. Parts can remain mounted during both spraying and drying, minimizing touchpoints and reducing the risk of finish defects.

Is the 40-part kit expandable?
Yes. The system is compatible with PivotPoint™ and PivotLine™ hanger products, allowing future expansion as production increases.

Can this system help reduce labor costs?
Yes. By reducing flipping, repositioning, and part movement, it streamlines workflow and improves operator efficiency.

Is installation compatible with most spray booths?
The PivotPoint™ system is designed for integration into common spray booth configurations, depending on structural mounting options.

Does this kit improve spray booth organization?
Yes. It centralizes part handling around a pivoting hub, creating a structured and repeatable finishing workflow.

Is this considered an entry-level finishing system?
Yes. The 40-part kit provides an accessible entry point into pivot-based finishing while remaining scalable within the Guffey Systems platform.

Can it be used for both paint and stain applications?
The system supports finishing processes that require consistent surface access and stable part positioning.

How does this kit help reduce rework?
Improved spray access and consistent positioning reduce uneven coverage, missed edges, and touch-up requirements.

Does the PivotPoint™ system improve drying efficiency?
Yes. Keeping parts suspended allows improved airflow exposure compared to flat surface drying methods.

What production challenges does this kit address?
It helps eliminate inefficiencies associated with flat finishing, including excessive handling, long cycle times, and inconsistent coverage.

Is the 40-part capacity appropriate for batch finishing?
Yes. It is designed to efficiently process moderate cabinet runs without overwhelming small shop resources.

Who should consider the PivotPoint™ Cabinet Spray Finish and Dry System Kit?
Small to mid-sized cabinet manufacturers seeking improved throughput, reduced labor, and scalable finishing solutions should consider this kit.

Why choose the PivotPoint™ 40-Part Kit over continuing with flat finishing tables?
The PivotPoint™ system improves efficiency, reduces handling, enhances finish consistency, and creates a scalable path toward higher-volume PivotLine™ systems.

What is the main difference between the PivotPoint™ 40-Part Kit and the 60-Part Kit?
The primary difference is batch capacity. The 40-Part Kit is designed to handle up to 40 parts at a time, while the 60-Part Kit supports up to 60 parts per batch.

Which kit is better for small cabinet shops?
The 40-Part Kit is typically ideal for smaller shops with lower daily production volumes, while the 60-Part Kit suits shops running larger or more frequent batches.

Does the 60-Part Kit improve throughput compared to the 40-Part Kit?
Yes. With a higher batch capacity, the 60-Part Kit allows more parts to be processed at once, increasing potential throughput per cycle.

Are both kits compatible with PivotPoint™ and PivotLine™ hanger products?
Yes. Both kits are fully compatible with all PivotPoint™ and PivotLine™ hanger components for future expansion.

Do both systems eliminate flat finishing methods?
Yes. Both kits are designed to replace time-consuming flat table finishing with a pivot-based multi-surface finishing approach.

Is installation similar for both kits?
Yes. Both kits integrate into spray booth environments using similar mounting principles and workflow layouts.

Which kit requires more spray booth space?
The 60-Part Kit may require additional space depending on layout and part size, while the 40-Part Kit is more compact for tighter booth configurations.

Do both kits support spraying and drying in the same setup?
Yes. Both kits allow parts to remain mounted for spraying and drying, reducing handling and improving airflow exposure.

Is the 40-Part Kit expandable to match the 60-Part capacity?
Yes. The modular design allows shops to expand over time using compatible PivotPoint™ and PivotLine™ components.

Which kit is more suitable for growing shops?
Shops anticipating production growth may prefer the 60-Part Kit for added capacity, while startups may begin with the 40-Part Kit and expand later.

Do both kits improve finish consistency compared to flat finishing?
Yes. Both systems allow controlled pivoting for better spray access, improved edge coverage, and more uniform film build.

Is labor reduction similar between the two kits?
Yes. Both kits reduce flipping, repositioning, and unnecessary handling, though the 60-Part Kit may reduce overall cycles due to higher batch capacity.

Are both kits considered entry-level systems?
Yes. Both serve as entry-level pivot-based finishing solutions that provide a pathway into full PivotLine™ systems.

Which kit is more cost-effective?
Cost-effectiveness depends on production volume. The 40-Part Kit suits smaller batches, while the 60-Part Kit may offer greater efficiency per cycle for higher output shops.

How do I decide between the 40-Part and 60-Part PivotPoint™ Kits?
Choose the 40-Part Kit if you run smaller batches or have limited booth space. Choose the 60-Part Kit if you need higher capacity, greater throughput, and room to scale production.
